The Volleyball program has worked closely with the Sunraysia Volleyball Association (SVI) to devise add on benefits to the development plan the association have all ready implemented, such as the McDonalds Under 13 Academy development program as well as the new Under 15 Academy development program.  Both of the SVI Academy programs provide grass roots development and establishes a clear pathway progression into the SAS Volleyball Program.

The 2008/09 program is the fourth program within the SAS. The Technical Director of Coaching is Allan Hassell with the Program Manager being Vicki Telfer. Collectively Allan and Vicki have been involved in Sunraysia volleyball for over thirty years. 

Paul Freckleton is the boy's squad coach with Ian Smith the girl's squad coach. Former SAS Volleyball athlete, Brad Hassell is the girl's squad asseistant coach.

The volleyball program has AIS Volleyball Coach Steven Benson as its patron and will utilise his expertise to great benefit. The volleyball program has evolved from a three tier program to the new one tier structure focussing on elite players.

The Volleyball program is based at the St Joseph's College Stadium.  The stadium is one of the best in the state.
